The 50mm dynamic driver of Magnetar Be has been meticulously selected for its use of the finest coating process for Beryllium, which you will never find in ~90% of headphones in the market, as it would cost a hundred times more to produce and most manufacturers wouldn't care about how it's done because they only care to market the word "Beryllium". If you didn’t already know, and to digress with a food example, the majority of the world’s wasabi contains only around 5%, and it’s unfortunate that most people have never tasted real 100% wasabi like most people have never heard a properly made Beryllium-coated driver.

Beryllium has extraordinary stiffness-to-weight ratio and is the most damped of the metals but still poor compared to paper. But being metal it does has it's traits of being excellent at lower-mids.
